Springboard Academy

For almost 100 years, Milton Hershey School has focused on providing the best living and learning experience for children. Our number one concern is helping each student become successful. To achieve success with students entering during middle school, we’ve created an innovative program that addresses concerns unique to this stage in their development.

New students entering 6th or 7th grade are enrolled in Springboard Academy, a separate living/learning community designed to help these students and their families transition successfully into the Milton Hershey School. The program is comprised of hands-on learning experiences that are tailored to the needs of each student. Whether cooking a meal together, learning science by collecting water samples from a nearby creek or sharing ideas around a campfire, students will have endless opportunities to learn by doing.
